Inspiration for Ideas

Homeschooling is a treat. It really is. I love to write down projects and school work down in my planner. And the kiddos love following a list. BUT a few days yo just do not want to do anything. So what I do is go on a "field trip" or take the kids to go see some friends they have not seen in a while. You can actually be inspired by visiting other places. It happens for us. We go to the museum and look for different ways to incorporate the displays in a subject for school work. Take a couple of pictures, go home and talk about it and then find a documentary or a worksheet, (make a worksheet). Going to the park. Ask your kids to name the types of trees that they find. Take a pine-cone home and make a diagram out of it. There could be some really fun stuff to do. I think we are going to make some leaf art. Have Fun! Pictures will follow

Guitar and Ballet

The new thing in our household for activites is guitar for the oldest and ballet for the little. They ABSOLUTELY LOVE it. Check out to see what your local area holds during the day for classes around your area. Maybe start your own group with what your children love to do.
